  1. Love that ‘zing’ the lemon gives your lovely grey pallet. You’ll never guess what color I wanted to paint my walls! Thinking now, I may need a little more color in my world. Lemon??? So enjoy that you bring us into your life. You are definitely inspirational. I’ve been trying to get the girls at work to learn, but no takers. This project may tip the scales. Gift bags of yarn with sticks, how can they resist! Can’t wait to see your other scarf.

Happy Monday! I woke up to snow this morning, not a lot, just enough to be a pain in the behind! I was up and out walking the dog at 6:15 this morning. Bbbbrrrrrr it was still dark and snowy, but I had something fab to look forward to when I got home and my glasses un-fogged ;-).

It was lovely warming up with a brew and a catch up with you. The bauble idea is a cunning plan. My tree does look like a fairy exploded tinsel and glitter on it but I’m thinking that some yarnie goodness is just what it needs.

Off to see what madness this week at work holds. Have a lovely week.

    • Happy morning! Stay warm in your hand knits today!
The little ornaments make cute gift toppers too for brown paper packages tied up with string =) …now I must go and sing the score to Sound of Music…

Those ornaments are a great activity that I can do with my 5 year old! I have a bunch of small styrofoam “snowballs” that I will convert to yarn-y ornaments. I have been busy knitting ornaments for my knitting group, but now I have a plan that might be easier and quicker to achieve!

I’m a little late viewing this video , but I loved all the great ideas. I am learning to spin on a drop spindle and this is the perfect way to use the bits I spin! Thanks for the inspiration!
