April 25th, 1975 was a good day for me. I got my start in life. Today I celebrate that start and 40 year journey. I don’t feel young or old. Just happy and loved.

    Happy Birthday, Mel. Today is the day I chose to celebrate my birthday. My actual birthday is Feb. 25. Last year, after sixty-plus years of celebrating my birthday in that drab, dreary, cold, dark month, I decided I could celebrate my birthday any time I wanted. (If Queen Elizabeth can choose to celebrate her birthday on a day other than the one of her birth, why couldn’t I?) I chose April because my two sisters, my mother and one of my grandmothers celebrate (celebrated in the case of Mother and Grandmother) their birthdays during that month. I love having a birthday during a month when it is usually warm, but not hot, and the sun is still shining after 4:30! I have February “birthday buddies” and now I consider you a birthday buddy, also!

    As I look at he colors, I’d say my favorite is 4 followed closely by 2. However, I’m one of those who loves all 4 of the colors
