Show and Tell with Mel

Since I took an extended weekend off for the holiday many of you are awaiting responses. Yes, I know what it is like to await a response from customer service. Husband is cooking and kiddos are doing laundry so I can give you all attention that you deserve and I need to give after taking time to enjoy the holiday with family we have not seen in many years (Can you believe most family members never made a trip to Hawaii to visit us? Meeting our youngest for the first time was such a joy for them—and for us as well!)

Please continue to be patient as I work through giving questions my attention. I try to personalize answers for each of you, and as many of you have done a bit of changing I have my hand full =) I thought that creating 2 new tutorials for you would answer a majority of questions. These videos are either featured below, or are awaiting compression and conversion by Vimeo for your enjoyment! Remember, we have over 2 weeks left for the K2G so don’t fret if your question takes a little while to answer.

I have had a few questions regarding how I pick up stitches for MK. There are loads of tutorials out there, but since many have asked… I thought I would show you how I do it for what you are knitting!

And many of you have contacted me…almost sheepishly….regarding wanting to change the sweater bottom. I speak candidly about feeling free to do just that on this tutorial, which includes changes, alterations, totally NOT doing it as written, as well as a very simple “How to Knit The Bottom Without Referring To The Pattern”! You can set up your split from front and back simply with no confusion whether you knit the pattern as written or made tons of extra increases through out! For those of you with questions, please watch!
